A CRM for the 9x12 method starts with the next conversation

Suppose a dentist asks you to follow up after speaking with a partner. In 9x12 Method CRM, customizable stages and tasks let you organize that relationship around your own process. That flexibility matters if you already have a pipeline you like.

In 9x12 Tools, the work queue and Lead Book serve different purposes. The queue brings the next prospect or due follow-up forward. The Lead Book lets you search and filter the campaign's relationships. Open a record to see contact details, incoming inquiries, logged outreach, invitations and a linked sale together.

Logging an interested call schedules a follow-up; it does not mark the business won. A completed sale controls won status. That keeps a promising conversation distinct from a purchased placement.

Where do the names in the CRM come from?

9x12 Method CRM's public workflow emphasizes entering or importing contacts. If your prospect list is already useful, that can be enough. Ask to see route-based discovery in the trial if that is a requirement; we did not find it described on the reviewed page.

In 9x12 Tools, saving your EDDM routes starts discovery in the campaign area. Businesses are deduplicated, scored and ranked, with available contact details and reasons behind the score. Your first 50 generated leads are workable free. On a paid plan, additional batches arrive as you work through prospects and the area has more results. This is not a promise of an unlimited list delivered upfront.

You still qualify each business and make the outreach. A score helps choose what to inspect next; it does not establish buying intent. Existing contacts can also be imported on a paid plan.

Compare the payment handoff, not just the invoice button

9x12 Method CRM explicitly advertises Stripe invoicing, paid/unpaid status and card updates from Closed-Won deals. It would be wrong to describe it as a CRM that knows nothing about payment. The useful trial question is what updates automatically when an advertiser actually pays, rather than when you move a deal.

9x12 Tools ties checkout to a specific spot. Successful settlement connects the buyer and payment with the sold placement and lead. The advertiser then has a private workspace to provide details and review the current artwork version, approving it or requesting changes with notes.

Choose based on the handoffs you want the software to handle. If configurable sales stages and invoicing cover your needs, the lower-cost CRM may fit. If finding prospects from routes and carrying a sale through placement and proof review are the missing jobs, try that full workflow in 9x12 Tools.

Where 9x12 Tools is the better fit

  • You want your saved mailing area to produce the first businesses to research and contact.
  • You prefer a next-action queue, with a Lead Book available for searching and reviewing relationships.
  • You want the purchased spot, advertiser record and artwork approval in the same campaign workflow.

What to check before choosing

  • Choose Method CRM if customizable Kanban stages are central to your existing process; our queue is not a configurable Kanban board.
  • Test how their paid invoice updates the deal and card, and whether your existing billing workflow can stay intact.
  • Do not count MegaMind as shipped functionality while their site labels it coming soon.
