Printing is not a moat, on either side. Their print service is resold rather than run in house, and at $2,900 for a 5,000-piece 9x12 it is priced at about what full-service fulfillment costs anywhere — our own guide independently prices it at $2,900–$3,000. That is a fair price and we are not suggesting otherwise.
It is a real convenience — one vendor, one invoice — but any national EDDM printer will do the same job for the same money, so it is not a reason to pick a platform.
We do not offer it today, and it is on the roadmap rather than in the product. When it lands, ordering the run will start from the finished campaign — which already holds the routes, the household count, the card and the mail date, so nothing has to be re-entered — and the boxes go to your door or straight to the postal unit. Until then, bring your own printer. We are not going to put a date on it here.
